Queen of the Ring is an American biographical sports drama about wrestler Mildred Burke.
It is written and directed by Ash Avildsen.
The lead role of Mildred Burke is portrayed by Emily Bett Rickards.
Supporting cast includes Josh Lucas, Walton Goggins, Tyler Posey, Francesca Eastwood, Deborah Ann Woll, Cara Buono, Damaris Lewis, Gavin Casalegno, among others.
The story traces Burke’s journey from relative obscurity to becoming one of the early legends of women’s professional wrestling — overcoming legal, social, and personal barriers in a time when women in wrestling were largely excluded.

In press coverage, Emily Bett Rickards shared that she underwent substantial physical training and transformation to play Burke, working with weights and even using unconventional training methods like chicken to build strength.

There is also a 2025 “Queen of the Ring” women’s tournament held by WWE, part of the combined King & Queen of the Ring event. The tournament ran from June 9 to June 28, 2025, across WWE’s Raw and SmackDown programming. The final took place at the Night of Champions pay-per-view in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The 2025 Queen of the Ring winner was Jade Cargill, who defeated Asuka in the final.
As champion, Jade earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
The 2025 tournament was the third edition of WWE’s Queen of the Ring (previously called Queen’s Crown).
